As a group, we put together welcome gifts for new babies and children undergoing surgery in the program. If you are able to donate any items such as described below, email craniofacialfamilies@gmail.com

Toys- new, small baby toys with lights/sound are a great post-surgery gift.

Blank cards- cute/fun for kids

Gift bags- new or EUC suitable for boy or girl of various ages

Books we like- "Guess how much I love you" - "I love you now, I loved you then" by Kate isles -  "wonder" by RJ P.  -  "A Big Operation" by Richard Scarry or other uplifting kids book for children with differences

By filling out this sheet, you are signing up to be a parent support contact for other new parents in the Manitoba Craniofacial program. Your information will only be used for this purpose. New parents that enter the Cranio program will be offered parent support and then matched with a contact in their area, if interested.

By submitting this form, you confirm that the below information is correct. You agree to be polite, supportive, and encouraging in your position as a parent support contact. You will take this volunteer position seriously, act in the best interest of the client (new parents), maintain confidentiality, connect with new clients as soon as possible, and follow through on meetings (or contact with prior notice to reschedule). You ensure that you will keep a record of volunteer hours and travel, and send them to craniofacialfamilies@gmail.com.
